Optimo Hats approached us with the need for a new website that accentuated their extraordinary brand. Instead of repurposing content from their old site, we scrapped everything and worked with Optimo to produce content that represented the undeniable quality of their hats.
Our mission was to find the best way to showcase the current collection of hats and materials to customers all over the world. We worked with product photographer Dan Shrock to capture the superior quality of finishes, timeless shapes and gorgeous colors of each Optimo hat. After countless hours of image production and development, the hats appear on the website, weightlessly floating above a shadow that is dynamically drawn in Flash.
The first time we met owner Graham Thompson, his story was so compelling we knew that words could not convey the Optimo brand radiating out of him. So, we brought on director Samuel Macon to conduct interviews that show the nature of their business and capture Graham gushing about his greatest passion - hats.
Throughout the website you'll come across videos that convey the history, the quality of materials and what truly makes a hat custom. The quality and timeless design of Optimo's craft has been noticed by customers Jack White, Buddy Guy and Andy Garcia. They even custom crafted hats for Johnny Depp and Christian Bale for the film, Public Enemies. Optimo is proud to say their hats are period perfect. Keep an eye out for their hats in the J.
